Just another Saturday night... (Caution: partial nudity!)

The big question these days seems to be, "what do we do for fun on Friday and Saturday night?"

Since we're not big into the whole bar/ club scene (too expensive/ too many annoying people, i.e. teenagers), we typically don't go out much on the weekends. We're okay with that since staying in tends to be more fun than going out.

This week was no exception.

Friday night we played cards with our ex-stripper neighbor and his girlfriend. Not a bad time even for me, being as horribly anti- social as I am with strangers. Saturday evening lead to more cards with my husband's "boyfriend" and our friend Lola. The boyfriend (more on him another day) went home and then the exciting times began!

This fabulous picture at left is my husband's torso. He is such the "hairy bastard," to quote him. Lola and I decided it would be fun to dehair him. Actually we wanted to put crop circles in his leg hair, but he shot down that idea. So we had to settle for defuzzing the chest and back. Now, before you start thinking, "Ewww, hairy back!" I'll point out that he really didn't have a whole lot on his back- just a few sporadic patches really. So this is his chest in the pre-hair removal stage. After a little trimming, we brought in the big guns... NAIR for Men!

Grimace, groan, whine,
grimace, groan, whine,
moan, sigh, WHEW!

When all the whining and moaning (10 minutes worth) was over, it was time to clean off the cream of death.





With a damp washcloth and hopes that it didn't touch my skin (I am so horribly sensitive skinned) the hair was wiped away and down into the tub to clog the drain.

Yep, same man, different lighting. Just several pounds of hair lighter and in desperate need of some sun. He's none the worse for the wear really, just concerned about the sensitivity of his skin to wearing a shirt right now. He goes back to work tomorrow and clothing is kinda necessary. Should be interesting...

So, that's what we did for fun (as well as burning some toxic crayons- more on that later) this weekend. What did you do? Bet it wasn't nearly as exciting and action packed.
