We've been discussing Halloween costumes (it's almost October!!!) lately. Generally that means Munchkin picks a cartoon character, we find a costume at the store, and we're done. Not so this year...
This year he wants to be a Night Elf. Uh huh, yeah, that was pretty much my reaction. How do I turn my 6 year old into a purple elf with glowing eyes?
Thanks to the power of Google, and hopefully a LOTR costume, I may be able to pull it off. At least well enough to convince him.
Also, I have to make fairy wings for a squiggly, not quite crawling 6 month old baby. Thanks in that category go to Martha Stewart and some pantyhose.
10 years ago I never saw myself as ever being a costume making mom... some days it still boggles the mind.
