Soccer

Yesterday was Munchkin's first soccer game. Since he's only 5, they're considered an "educational" league and don't keep score. If they did, Munckin's team would have won 3-1.

He played better than I expected, but seems to be having trouble with the "you can't tackle people" and "you can't touch the ball with your hands unless you're the goalie" concepts. We're working on it.

He was the goalie for the first quarter. Four and five year olds are hilarious in organized sports. Running on and off the field during the game for bathroom and drink breaks, sitting down to rest mid kick, and various other things that make an otherwise boring sport fun for the 40 minutes the games last.
